How to Reach Bara Shaheed Dargah

BY TRAIN

  1. Book a train from Bengaluru (stations such as SMVT Bengaluru / formerly Bengaluru (SMVB), or Bengaluru City Junction) to Nellore Railway Station (station code NLR).


  • There are multiple trains on this route; e.g., from SMVT Bengaluru to Nellore in ~7 h 34 m on train no. 12836.
  • Travel time is approximately 7½ to 9 hours, depending on the train.
  • The distance is around 450-500 km.


2.Arrive at Nellore Railway Station. From Nellore station, you’ll need road transport (taxi/rickshaw) to the Dargah, which is located by the lake in Nellore district.


3.Ensure you check the train’s schedule, arrival time, and availability of onward transport from Nellore station to the Dargah.
